Last week I have been studying my Bible, and a lady who was trained by Muslim leaders to disturb believers approached me and asked me. “Do you know that Jesus said that no one has ever seen God?” I said yes. And she asked, “And why do you believe in someone who people saw him eating and drinking like us? I was out of answers, but I told her that wait, I had study Bible. We can’t take God’s word literally like that. She said, “You bring your Bible and see what your scholars are saying.
So I opened the study Bible to see this issue. I found that this is a big issue for Muslims falsely accusing the Holy word of God. For they don’t understand the Bible, and they are using it like what the devil did to eve. Because John 1:18: says, “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” The Bible tells us that many people saw God in Old Testament. The Lord appeared to Abraham in Genesis 17:1; Jecob saw God face to face in Genesis 32:30; The Lord revealed himself to Samuel in 1 Samuel 3:21; to Solomon in 1 Kings 9:2. Daniel and his friends, plus the king, saw the Lord Daniel 3:25. It’s clear that Jesus was aware of all of these. He was telling them that whom people saw previously was incarnated Jesus Christ. For he said before Abraham I was. So scholars included that we have not seen Father as spirit being, but we have seen His manifestation in Jesus Christ. The Son took the human body for the sake of our love. After we have gone through many Scriptures. She said I didn’t know that the Bible was also talking about Abraham, Jacob, Solomon, and so many prophets. I told her the Book quran talks about it, and it says “The people of Book” That book is the Bible. She asked if she could borrow the book and go and read.
