“Tony” was a devoted Muslim. Graduated from the University of Ny….. He studied Sharia law. His hope was to go to Palestine to fight Israel. But he did not get a chance to go over there. There is a time we were taking tea in the market. For we were discussing about the African international University in Khartoum and other colleges like the Sharia law in Ny… and other places. These universities are specifically aimed to Islamise Africans. He was so much interested in the discussions and his view was changed so much. From that day he became a friend. We invited him to come on our daily discussion group. He came the first day he was so much afraid with the content of discussion but he developed interest at the same time. He left us there he did not finish the discussion but next day he came back. He continued coming and after his heart was opened. He shared his life story and the way he felt with our group. After that we shared the gospel of Jesus Christ. This person not only accepted Christ but he has an idea of how to engage Muslims effectively. The first step he did is: In Darfur people have very primitive school teaching Quran (Islamic sacred text) they are using a piece of wood called (Loho) to write Quran on it. He says we can use this strategy to help kids memorize Bible. He said I will do that at my home I will help my children to write the Gospel of John. He said I want my children to memorize Quran but now they will memorize the whole Bible. He said it is good people to memorize text for it sounds nice to people when they hear things already memorized.
