Simon reached seventeen of his friends through a praise song.
It was in September I had Masalit praise song from someone. I had a friend of mine his name is Simon, I asked him whether he understands the song. He told me yes I understand that he is praising someone called Yassu. I asked him, do you know Yassu? He said I don’t know him. That gave me great opportunity to share the gospel with him. Simon was so excited as his people are seriously persecuted by Arab Muslims, even though they are all professing Muslims.
He took the message seriously and he asked me to share the song with him. I had the Micro SD card that CRM ministry provided. I gave him that memory card loaded with Masalit song and Jesus Film in Sudanese Arabic. Simon got very happy and gave great thanks. He said my brother, we have been deceived all the way from our great grandfather’s up to today. Simon said “I will lead my people to understand this message.”
Within only 15 days he shared the Jesus Film with more 200 hundred people and he said I asked everybody to share with others. He told me that he has got 7 people accepted Christ and that I need to go and share the gospel with them. I did not visit them yet due to the security issues in Masalit area. But I am so excited to visit these people please, look up Masalit materials we need them to come to Christ.
