One of the Barti guys came to us in the church.
Since 2020 we have started praying about Barti people coming to Christ. On October first, early in the morning, a Barti boy came to the church compound. He stayed outside the church for almost 2 hours. After we prayed, we asked him if he is a good guy. He said “I have spent almost weeks looking for the church, but I didn’t find. Is this the church?” We answered, yes, this is the church. He said “I was working in the market and one of my friends told me that there are Christians preaching Injil (Gospel) to people and they accept them to be Christians. So, for me, I want to be a Christian. We asked him whether he has heard the message before, he said, “no, I hear people talking about a different religion in town. So, I have decided to come and join you.”
From that day he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and continued coming along with his friends who also want to be Christians. We have seen how our brother knows to talk about his faith. From there they accepted Christ and continued coming to church. Please pray for these young men. They are facing intensive persecution from their family members.
Barti is a small tribe in Darfur very unreached by the Gospel.
