November 2023 2

Dear CRM Supporter,

As we approach the end of another remarkable year at Calvary Road Ministries, I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication to this ministry.

Your partnership this year played a critical role in allowing us to boldly advance CRM’s mission of Sharing His Story, Showing His Compassion, and Serving His Church. On behalf of the CRM Board and volunteers, I thank you for standing with us.

Because of you, 2023 has been nothing short of extraordinary. Here are a few examples of the difference your contributions made in the Kingdom Work in East Africa.

  • Since the current war in Sudan began on April 15, the Darfur region has seen the worst violence, including systematic acts of genocide. Over 30% of the population is facing starvation. Because of you, lives were saved. CRM evacuated 51 Christians from various places within Darfur to Uganda, fleeing their homes with only the clothes on their backs.
  • Once these Christians arrived in Uganda, CRM provided them with housing, clothing, medical care, a plot of land to start a self-sustaining farming operation, funds to start a Bible school, and multiple micro-SD cards, projectors, and story cloths to use in their gospel outreach efforts to other refugees.
  • Because of your generosity, CRM also evacuated 400 additional families from the Darfur war zone with the most intense fighting to areas deemed safer within the country.
  • Persecuted believers in Darfur received $13,000 worth of Bibles before the war began in April—which provided spiritual food and comfort for our persecuted brethren and enabled them to win more people to Jesus amidst the horrors of war.
  • CRM provided a water tower tank for the Oloika Children’s Home in Kenya. Your giving in 2022 enabled CRM to provide the home with a well and solar system and sponsor teams to build dorms for the children, along with toilets, bathing rooms, and a kitchen. Many young children, teachers, and adult caregivers have a brighter, healthier future because when the Spirit said “give,” you obeyed.
  • Because you gave, CRM provided $4,500 for food relief for Maasai believers in Kenya to help them through the final months of their three-year drought.
  • Because of you, in Tanzania, CRM held multiple story cloth training events for Maasai pastors, built a new classroom for the Losimingori Bible School, and provided numerous story cloths, micro-SD cards, and projectors to Maasai pastors to present the gospel. Two CRM-sponsored bush evangelism teams partnered with Maasai Baptists to start three new churches and lead over 1,300 people to faith in Christ.

But there is more work to be done. There are children to feed, families to protect, pastors to train, and Bibles to distribute. And the gospel to be spread. Our goal is to raise $100,000 by year-end, so CRM may start strong in 2024 and fund these critical initiatives in East Africa.

Your gift will make a profound difference by impacting future generations for the Lord.

Please give today.

With heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes for a blessed holiday season,

David Crane, President
